The book "Tomorrow, When the War Began" is not the best book in the world. I find that the author tries to make it like a true story, but I don't find it realistic at all. Even though it's about true things that could of happened (like a little town, World War I, and a forest), I don't believe that anyone would let their kids go to a wild forest with lots of dangerous animals and different things that are also extremely dangerous. I also think that if I went home from going on vacation and finding out that both my parents are gone and everyone in the whole city is gone, I would cry or freak out a little. I would not recommend this book.
"Tomorrow, When the War Began" isn't a one book series, it includes 7 different books. I love looking at the names for the 7 books because they're so catchy (ex. "Tomorrow, When the War Began", "The Dead of Night", "The Third Day, The Frost" or "A Killing Frost", "Darkness Be My Friend", "Burning for Revenge", "The Night is for Hunting", "The Other Side of Dawn"). Even though I adore the title of the 7 books I don't think I'm going to continue the series after the first book because "Tomorrow, When the War Began" isn't a great book. I still might change my mind about the series though, because I'm only about one-third through the first book and could change my mind easily.
